Aim Higher day at Homerton, Cambridge.
What is time and does it always travel in the same direction? This is one of the questions which students from year 10 were challenged with when they took part in an Aim Higher day at Homerton, College Cambridge.
The idea of the Aim Higher programme is that it opens up the world of study at University students who may not have previously considered it an option. As well as learning about relativity and space-time, students also investigated film, what it actually is and how it can get ideas across. They also learnt about what universities are like and how going to university can benefit them in the future.
Everyone left with plenty to think aboutand many students were now considering university more seriously than they had before.
