Neale-Wade Gymnastics Club Haiti fundraiser
The Neale-Wade Gymnastics club held fundraising circuits during their sessions last week to raise money for victims of the Haiti earthquacke. Head coach Alan Todd organised the event and is hoping that it will raise £1000 towards the relief efforts. Over 120 gymnasts took part including your very own Sports Centre Manager. Its fair to say that I’m not known for my gymnastic ability but I will do just about anything for a good cause and with Mr Kenning offering sponsorship for an attempted somersault I rose to the challenge (almost seriously injuring myself in the process). Well done to all those gymnasts that took part and hopefully the £1000 target will be met.
