Netherlands Exchange challenge
Today students on the Year 8 / 9 Netherlands took part in a ‘Creating a presence’ exercise. They had to design an interactive logo using Flash and then create a musical masterpiece to accompany it.
You can see the initial presentation in this sliderocket presentation:
The above presentation was used to introduce the Flash part of the work. Students had to consider what makes an effective logo, using examples of logos from various companies familiar to them. We then took these ideas and used them to contruct brand new logos and scenes to promote the Netherlands Exchange.
The work that students created today can be seen by clicking on the links below. Students had a total of just three hours for their complete creation. They had to put together their own music and graphics. This is some excellent work considering many students had never even used Flash before. Some work does still needs to be finished off and as files haven’t been optimised they may take time to appear. Students will be given an opportunity to complete work further in future exchange meetings.
Do have a look and leave your comments though. Especially if you were involved today. If your work is not visible here, please let us know and we’ll upload it.
