Impact of the adverse weather
As many of you discovered, we will always do our very best to update the blog (and consequently) the College website with information when we encounter bad weather.
We were delighted that so many people get involved sharing ideas and comments. Please do continue to do this – using the blog in a positive way to communicate. Over the last few days the College blog and website was visited over 4000 times – which is as many as we normally get in a whole month.

We’ve even written a section on the Open Source Schools project about how the blog was used during recent days – it shows how Neale-Wade has been yet again leading the way through the use of our WordPress blog.
Thank you for your support and contributions

It’s 8.15pm and it’s been snowing for over 5 hours in March. We have at least 3cm of snow (we’ve been out and measured it) and the main road has a thick covering. Are there any plans for Friday yet?

well, tbh i don’t think there should be no school 2murrow as it has snowed lots tonight , and the snow has gone on top of ice which is dangerous, like for people to travel in , like for people who get on a bus, or car or even walk , and people far away will find it hard to get in .

Could you please put on the blog whether or not the college will be open tomorrow? (13 February)
Because I’m not sure if it will be because the weather is quite bad again.
Thank you.

I really hope you guys don’t cancel tommorow just because of a bit of snow. That’ll be three days in two weeks.

Currently there has been no indication that the College will be closed tomorrow (Friday) but – as promised – the moment the situation changes the blog will be updated.

Hi, I was just wondering what are your thoughts on Friday 13th ?
Do you reckon there’s much chance of school being open ?
Snows coming down pretty heavily now and people are wondering weather or not schools will be open.
I know you don’t normally make ur decision till morning but I was wondering maybe a decision could be made now ? Sooner rather than later. Thanks x
