A & AS Level Results 2009 – congratulations!

Students, staff and Governors are again celebrating success in this year’s A and AS Level examinations. All year 13 students who completed courses achieved success and just under 50% of A Level examinations were passed with higher grades.
This again represents a high achievement, showing how much hard work, effort and support has been demonstrated by students, teachers and parents. The joint partnership working of Neale-Wade Community College and Cromwell Community College as part of the Fenland 16-19 Partnership has again contributed to the successful outcomes for students.
Year 12 students have continued to produce pleasing results which will lay the foundation for the future success of A Levels.
Mr Tim Hitch, Principal:
“Overall I am pleased with the students’ results this year. I would like to congratulate all students, but especially: Tom Leigh (Maths A, Chemistry A, Further Maths A);Beth Ridgewell (Sociology A, Government & Politics A, History B); Olga Shipunova (Russian A, Drama A, Geography B, Maths C); Joanna Turton (Biology A, Psychology A, Sociology A); Luke Barton (Drama A, Media A, English B, History B); Ben Ward (Business Studies A, Chemistry A, Maths B); Kim Wheeler (Maths A, Further Maths B, Biology B); Tom Nickalls (Maths A, English B, Geography B); Nicola Hawkesford (Maths A, Business Studies A, English C).
Neale-Wade students have obtained places at a wide range of universities, with subjects ranging from Drama/Media to Mathematics/Chemistry. With 15 subjects gaining 100% pass rates and a number of very pleasing individual performances, the hard work of the students and staff is clear.”
Ms Natalie Sait, Head of Post-16:
“I would like to congratulate students on their success which reflects two years of dedicated work by students.”
Mrs Jenny Nickalls, Chair of Governors:
“These results reflect continued progress and achievement at Neale-Wade. I am delighted that individual student success will allow our Sixth Form students to continue their education and training.”
